Developed by the Australian-based video game developer No Moss Studios (now called Noble Steed Games), this was the first Sea-Monkeys® game released for the mobile app market.

In this virtual aquarium, your main purpose was to take care of various pet Sea-Monkeys, which you would feed and play minigames with to keep their different stats favorable. One could take care of five pet Sea-Monkeys simultaneously, but they weren’t permanent; after a few days, your pet Sea-Monkey would part ways, at which point it was time to hatch a new one.

As part of its gameplay loop, the game had a collectible side to it. From a clown to a zombie-themed Sea-Monkey, the game had a codex of various quirky themed species that one could obtain at random to fill their entries. One of those gameplay activities designed to keep one coming back in hopes that RNG would be on your side to get the species you wanted to complete the codex.

The game also gave the player the option to decorate the virtual aquarium with various themed sets, which you could obtain for free via normal gameplay or from the in-game store.
